PLEASE NOTE, GWWY TAKE EVERY CARE TO ARRANGE WALKS WHICH ARE SAFE AND CONVENIENT FOR ALL INVOLVED.  HOWEVER, WE ARE AN INFORMAL WALKING GROUP, AND ACCEPT NO LIABILITY FOR ANY ACCIDENTS/INJURIES WHICH MAY OCCUR ON ANY OF OUR WALKS/EVENTS.  OWNERS AND THEIR PETS JOIN US AT THEIR OWN RISK

We warmly welcome suggestions on routes in West Yorkshire, should you have somewhere in mind.

Requirements for walks:
TIME:  Routes should take 60-90 mins,
with a shorter route available for older dogs.

PARKING:  Start/finish should include a car park

TOILETS/AMENITIES - Ideally somewhere with a café or tuck shop with toilets that will allow us to sit outside with the dogs following the walk

Directions

Leave the M1 at J39

Exit roundabout towards Wakefield A636
(Not the exit with the Cedar Court Hotel - If you take that exit you are going in the wrong direction)

Go straight through 1 roundabout

At the next roundabout turn Right

The entrance to the park is the 3rd exit

If  you take the 4th exit by mistake you will pass Asda on your left (turn around)

Car park free for the first hour and will then be charged at the rate of 50p an hour
